Daoming Chemical has officially introduced DM-DS2010, a high-performance silicone developed specifically for premium hair care formulations. This functional ingredient—Bis-Aminopropyl Dimethicone—is designed to overcome key technical limitations of traditional amino silicones, including greasiness, yellowing, and poor color durability, bringing a new level of performance to hair conditioning applications.
Engineered with a unique bis-amino functional structure, DM-DS2010 features higher molecular weight and a low amine value (only 0.04–0.05 mmol/g), significantly reducing potential irritation to both scalp and hair. It addresses issues often associated with older-generation silicones, such as yellow discoloration, heavy build-up, and poor breathability. The product forms a uniform, stable film on the hair surface, enhancing detangling, softness, and visual shine.
In terms of static control and color protection, DM-DS2010 also delivers outstanding results. Its molecular design minimizes static buildup, tames frizz, and offers post-dye color preservation by slowing pigment loss and maintaining vibrancy.
A spokesperson from Daoming Chemical commented:"With the growing adoption of DM-DS2010 in premium formulations, we are continuously driving the evolution of personal care ingredients toward greater performance and safety. This product reflects our formulation philosophy of 'functionality meets mildness' and is aimed at delivering high-efficiency, eco-friendly, and sensory-pleasing solutions to the market."
DM-DS2010 has passed internal stability testing and formulation evaluations. It is well-suited for conditioners, color-treated and chemically processed hair treatments, and leave-in care products. Samples and technical documents are available upon request.
